The Client: San Diego Magazine

I was given a difficult task, to take over the creative of a city magazine. One that had just been ravaged by a pandemic. Restaurants closing left and right. Most retailers going out of business. I was left with one thought. The businesses and restaurants are having a hard time, let's shift the focus to the people. The ones who built these businesses and restaurants. Lets develop those stories out there. We can focus on this,  while doing our best to support who was able to keep the doors open, and hopefully boost traffic to neighborhoods and communities. The Editorial team highlighted people and places we thought were interesting and thought provoking.
